Family Fun on the Las Vegas Strip at Circus Circus Hotel

Circus Acts, Games, Rides and More at Circus Circus

Las Vegas has a lot to offer families with unique sights and fun activities, but they are usually spread out around the strip. Circus Circus Hotel and Casino offers a bunch of family friendly fun all in one fun location. We have stayed at the hotel a couple of times over the years and our daughter (and us as well) has had a blast each time. Even if we end up staying at another hotel when vacationing in Las Vegas, our family always spends a day at Circus Circus. The hotel is a 3 star hotel and offers affordable accommodations, but we go here for the fun it offers our family.

Circus Circus Acts

At the center of the Carnival Midway, Circus Circus has a variety of circus acts performing daily. The performances start at 11 a.m. and are completely free. There is usually a sign near center stage which says what act will be performing at what time. They have bleachers at center stage for folks to sit and watch the circus acts, but you will have to get there early as they fill up quickly before showtime. You can still watch the acts from various areas around the Carnival Midway but depending on where the act is during the performance you might not have the best (or any) view of the performer. Our advice is to get a seat about 30 minutes prior to the show and for certain shows like the trapeze, that might not be early enough. The circus acts are fun and entertaining and the kids really enjoy them. Some of the circus acts performed include aerial silks, slack wire, flying trapeze, freestyle BMX and more. The Circus Circus Hotel clowns perform daily at the Carnival Midway, the Adventuredome and the hotel lobby.

Midway Games

Surrounding the circus acts center stage is the Carnival Midway. Here, you and the kids can play a variety of games to try and win prizes like stuffed animals, toys and more. From basketball shots and squirting water in the clowns mouth to darts and skee ball, the Carnival Midway has most of the carnival games you have enjoyed before. They also have an arcade that has new as well as classic arcade games. It is a fun hour or so playing games with your kids and hopefully they come away with a stuffed animal to remember it by.

Adventuredome Theme Park

Our favorite part of Circus Circus Hotel is without a doubt, the Adventuredome Theme Park. This is a large indoor amusement park that sits under a huge pink dome, so year round fun can be had come rain or 110° shine. The park has rides for adults and kids of all ages, from roller coasters and thrill rides to kids only and family rides. You can purchase ride tickets individually, but we suggest getting an all-day-ride wristband if you plan on spending a decent amount of time here.

Circus Circus Hotel and Rooms

Circus Circus Hotel offers a variety of affordable accommodations. We like staying at the hotel because you get the best of both worlds. There is plenty to do for the family throughout the hotel and it offers up large Las Vegas casinos for a little adults-only fun. Most of the rooms have been newly remodeled and provide a comfortable place to relax and sleep in between your activities. Circus Circus Hotel has 2 outdoor pools at the Skyrise tower that are open March through November. They also have a KOA RV Park for those that have an RV and are looking to stay close to the Las Vegas Strip.

All in all, Circus Circus Hotel provides a lot for families to do while staying in Las Vegas and we recommend stopping by with the kids for some family fun. It is included as one of our top picks for the Best Kid Friendly Hotels in Las Vegas.
